Roger Sabin is professor of Popular Culture at the University of the Arts London. He has written several histories of comics, and has an academic profile (see here). He also reviews for the media (BBC, Channel 4, The Guardian), and his exhibition consultancy includes the Tate Gallery, British Museum and British Library. The ‘Sabin Award’ is presented annually at the International Graphic Novel and Comics Conference.
Roger is co-editor with Simon Grennan and Julian Waite of the first book to celebrate the work of Victorian cartoonist Marie Duval (Myriad 2018).
