Una, author of the recently-published Becoming Unbecoming, will be presenting her work at the Emma Humphreys Memorial Prize ceremony at the close of the Feminism in London conference.
The annual prize of £1,000 is awarded to an individual woman who has, through writing or campaigning, raised awareness of violence against women and children.
Becoming Unbecoming is a devastating personal account of gender violence told in graphic-novel form, set against the backdrop of the 1970s Yorkshire Ripper man-hunt.
