Artist Una will be running a creative workshop at this year’s Thought Bubble Festival. Those taking part will tackle the problem of proportion in figure and face, and facial expressions.
The workshop will take place at Harrogate Convention Centre on Sunday 10th November at 11.30 am, finishing at 13.00.
If you’d like to take part, you will need a camera to take selfies, but everything else will be provided. This event is open to ticket holders only and no extra booking is needed, but we suggest getting there in advance to guarantee yourself a spot!
Una is a comics artist and writer. Her first graphic novel Becoming Unbecoming has been widely translated and was featured on BBC Radio 4 Open Book and Woman’s Hour, Oprah.com and in Newsweek and Elle magazine. Una’s latest comic book Cree was commissioned by New Writing North and Durham Book Festival. She is currently working on a second graphic novel, Eve, for Virago Press.
More information on the workshop can be found on the Thought Bubble website.
