Sabba Khan will be joining Jude Cowan Montague for an enjoyable night of comic-based presentations at The Cartoon Museum, organised by Laydeez do Comics.

Sabba Khan was shortlisted for the Myriad First Graphic Novel Competition 2018 with an extract from her work-in-progress, Pluralism, which explores what it means to be a second generation Pakistani immigrant living in Britain.

She is a multi disciplinary designer, artist and maker who intersects the spheres of architectural design and visual storytelling. She has worked with and been published by grass roots organisations such as OOMK, Burnt Roti and Alternative Press to increase BAME representation in the arts and publishing. She is also an advocate of increasing BAME representation in architecture and construction. She is one half of architectural practice Khan Bonshek.

Laydeez do Comics London meetings are currently run by Rachael Ball, Wallis Eates and Nicola Streeten. LDC is the largest women-led comics forum for all. Launched in  2009 by  Nicola Streeten and Sarah Lightman the focus is on comics work based on life narrative and the drama of the everyday.
