Shoreham Wordfest 2019: Tales by the Riverbank with Umi Sinha

Hosted by Jamie Crawford with author Umi Sinha and Kym Murden, Shoreham Wordfest are running an evening of storytelling on the Verda Houseboat in Shoreham.  Umi and Kym will be inviting members of the audience to tell stories alongside them, each story lasting no more than 10 minutes. The stories can be traditional or based on real events, but must be told without paper prompts.  

There will be musical interludes and refreshments.

Umi is author of Belonging, an unforgettable novel of love, loss, race and ethnicity and of homeland.  Umi also runs storytelling evenings and creative writing workshops in Newhaven. She is currently writing her second novel.
