Join the first Laydeez do Comics event in Manchester in conjunction with International Graphics Novel and Comics Conference at Manchester Metropolitan University.

Laydeez do Comics champions and supports the work of cartoonists, comics artists and graphic novelists whose work focuses on the drama of the everyday.

Speakers will include Rachael Ball (author of The Inflatable Woman), Shromona Das (artist and researcher), Sarah Lightman (author of The Book of Sarah) and an LDC intro by Nicola Streeten, co-founder of LDC and author of Billy, Me and You (Myriad, 2012) and co-editor of The Inking Woman (Myriad, 2018).
