Isabel Ashdown at Jersey Festival of Words

Isabel Ashdown will be in conversation with Gwyn Garfield-Bennett about her latest novel Flight, while literary agent Kate Shaw of The Viney Agency unravels the secrets of the publishing industry.

This will be Jersey’s first literary festival, featuring a host of internationally renowned writers, many local writers, poets and performers, a schools’ programme, writing workshops, competitions and more.

Running from 30 September – 4 October, Jersey Festival of Words will feature star writers from many genres performing, reading and discussing their work in the setting of the a beautiful Island with a distinct cultural identity.

Jersey Opera House will feature as the main hub for the festival, with other events staged at venues around the Island, including the Jersey Museum, Durrell, the Jersey Library, CCA Galleries International and St. Aubins Harbour Gallery.
