Carol Isaacs has been invited to talk at Upper Wimpole Street Literary Salon, a members-only event which will run from 19:00 – 21:00, 12 February at Persephone Books.

Acclaimed musician and cartoonist Carol Isaacs (also known as The Surreal McCoy) will be in conversation with Sarah Lightman (The Book of Sarah) about The Wolf of Baghdad, her graphic memoir recounting her Jewish family’s memories of a lost Iraqi homeland.

Initially created as a multi-media performance with a slideshow accompanied by Carol’s own music, The Wolf of Baghdad has many creative dimensions and there will be ample opportunity to explore several of them on the night. Copies of The Wolf of Baghdad will be available for sale and signing at the event.

If you would like to sign up for membership to the salon and attend this event, contact salon organiser, Catherine Davidson: [email protected]

A £10 donation to the salon is requested from all attendees.
