Kate Charlesworth will be celebrating trans equality at Solidarity on the Shore in Leith this Sunday. The fundraising campaign event runs from 2 pm – 10 pm; an inclusive and busy street party combining music, comedy, storytelling, poetry, street theatre, art, food and cocktails!
Kate is author of Sensible Footwear, a truly astounding graphic memoir detailing LGBTQI history from the 1950’s to the present day. Already heralded by comic artists and shops around the UK as a stand-out graphic memoir and must-read, Sensible Footwear is a sensational account of growing up gay, embracing LGBTQI culture and celebrating those who paved the way.
Solidarity on the Shore is organised by the Equality Network, a leading Scottish LGBTQI charity. The event is free and open to all.
