S.E. Craythorne will be reading from and discussing her debut novel, How You See Me, at independent South Norfolk bookshop, Diss Publishing.

S.E. Craythorne lives and works in rural Norfolk. She holds an MA in Creative Writing from the University of East Anglia and her poetry and prose have been published in various literary journals.

How You See Me was shortlisted for the 2013 Writer’s Retreat Competition and was longlisted for Mslexia‘s Women’s Novel Competition. Taut and suspenseful it explores the terrifying power of the mind to deceive, not only others, but – most destructively of all – ourselves. We Love This Book describe How You See Me as ‘an absolute marvel of a novel, a triumph of subject, form and storytelling’ and the Independent call it ‘a polished literary mystery exploring the fragile and intensely human nature of deception’.
