Paula Knight, author of the graphic memoir The Facts of Life, will discuss fertility / infertility within a cultural framework as part of Cardiff University’s BookTalk discussion forum: ‘expert perspectives and readers’ views about the big ideas in a range of classic and contemporary fiction.  Each speaker addresses the books from their own specialism, and this can lead to fascinating insights about the literary, social and cultural implications of the novels we read.’ Paula will be joined by Dr Lise El Refaie (Centre for Language and Communication Research, Cardiff University), and Dr Sofia Gameiro (School of Psychology, Cardiff University), an expert in psychological aspects of fertility treatment.
