Join New Daughters of Africa editor Margaret Busby as she talks with anthology contributors Ayesha Harruna Atta, Nana Ekua Brew-Hammond,  Anni Domingo and Phillippa Yaa de Villiers at Pa Gya! Literary Festival in Accra.

The event will be on Sunday 18 October and celebrate the anthology, which was published in 2019 to international acclaim.  A glorious portrayal of the richness, range and diversity of African women’s voices, New Daughters of Africa brings together their achievements across a wealth of genres: autobiography, memoir, letters, short stories, novels, poetry, drama, humour, journalism, essays and speeches. There will be readings from and a discussion about the anthology by all involved in the event.

This festival is organised by the Writer’s Project of Ghana and runs from Friday 16 Oct – Sunday 18 Oct online.
