Crime writer Lisa Cutts will be appearing at Marden Library, Kent, on 17 September to discuss her crime novels and her work as a police officer.

Lisa Cutts is a serving police officer with Kent Police and the award-winning author of two police crime novels featuring DC Nina Foster, Never Forget and Remember, Remember, both published by Myriad.

The first book in the DC Nina Foster series, Never Forget (now optioned for a major TV drama), was longlisted for the Waverton Good Read Award in 2013 and won Best Thriller in the Killer Nashville Silver Falchion Awards in 2014. Its taut and gripping follow-up, Remember, Remember, was published last year.

During the event, Lisa Cutts will discuss her experience of police work and how it has informed her novels.
