Kate Charlesworth will be taking part in London Literature Festival’s Polari Literary Salon this October. The salon is to be held at the legendary Royal Festival Hall.
The event will see a fantastic list of authors reading from their latest work, showcasing the best in emerging and established narratives of queer life. Kate will be sharing her newly-published graphic memoir; Sensible Footwear: A Girl’s Guide.
‘Whoa! Absorbing my copy of Kate Charlesworth’s autobiographical LGBT history. No wonder Posy Simmonds is in love with it. Refreshingly structured, full of vital historical LGBT+ struggle and FUNNY to boot!’ Page 45
The evening will also feature Tracey Thorn, singer-songwriter and writer, in conversation with Paul Burston, creator and founder of the Polari salon.
Tickets are £5 and can be bought HERE.
