Ghosting

As part of celebrations in and around London for LGBT History Month 2016, Jonathan Kemp will read from and sign copies of his work at this event at Kentish Town Library.

Jonathan will talk about his latest novel, Ghosting, in which he draws on a brilliant literary tradition of madness, incarceration and escape to deliver a Mrs Dalloway for the modern age – and the triumphant coming-of-age of a woman in her sixties.

Jonathan’s debut novel, London Triptych (2010), was shortlisted for the inaugural Green Carnation Prize and won the Authors’ Club Best First Novel Award. He is also the author of Twentysix (2011), a collection of stories depicting erotic encounters, in the tradition of George Bataille and Jean Genet. Jonathan lives in London and teaches at Birkbeck, University of London.

This is event is free: all welcome. For more details contact Kentish Town Library.
