Beloved: A Tribute to Toni Morrison at Edinburgh International Book Festival

Share

Edinburgh International Book Festival has organised a warm, celebratory event paying tribute to author Toni Morrison with readings from her across her astonishing career.

Scots Makar Jackie Kay is set to lead the special memorial event marking the life and work of a true modern literary legend, alongside writers Nafissa Thompson-Spires and Nesrine Malik, New Daughters of Africa editor Margaret Busby, as well as publishers Clara Farmer and Lennie Goodings, each of whom have been moved, inspired and influenced by Morrison’s oeuvre in different ways.

This event is a ‘pay what you can’ event, where you can choose to pay an amount between £0 and £25 for your ticket, taking into consideration what you can reasonably afford to spend. The event is part of the Telling Her Story series of events.
