Umi Sinha at the Asian Women Booklover's Group

Umi Sinha will be visiting the Asian Women Booklover’s Group to talk about her novel Belonging.

From the darkest days of the British Raj through to the aftermath of the First World War, Belonging tells the interwoven story of three generations and their struggles to understand and free themselves from a troubled history steeped in colonial violence.

The Asian Women Booklover’s Group is for women of Asian origin who would like to talk about books that explore their experience. They are an LBGT-friendly group and welcome women of all faiths and none, and of West, Central, South and East Asian origin.

Entry to the talk is free and it will also be a chance to find out more about the group. They generally meet on the third Wednesday evening of the month.
