Tyler Keevil will appear at the Word Factory – a series of intimate short story salons bringing together talented writers and readers for performance and conversation. The audience can meet the authors, enjoy their recommendations and sample the best of new short fiction.

At this event, Tyler will perform alongside Jerwood Fiction Uncovered Prize winner Carys Davies, and writers Toby Litt and Diriye Osman.

Tyler Keevil is grew up in Vancouver, Canada, and now lives in Wales. His novel, The Drive, was published by Myriad in 2013 and won the Wales Book of the Year People’s Prize. His story collection, Burrard Inlet, was also nominated for the Wales Book of the Year, as well as the Edgehill Story Prize, the Frank O’Connor Award, and the Rubery Book Award. One of the stories from the collection, ‘Sealskin’, was recently awarded the Writers’ Trust of Canada / McClelland & Stewart Journey Prize.
