Join Elizabeth Haynes and Elly Griffiths for Noirwich’s Bloody Brunch: the newest, boldest and bloodiest event in the crime-writing calendar.

Spice up your Sunday with Bloody Marys and themed food in the spectacular medieval Dragon Hall. Scarred by fifteenth century ‘witches’ marks’, Dragon Hall provides the perfect backdrop for this new event.

The first talk of the morning features Elly Griffiths and Elizabeth Haynes. Elly Griffiths’ series starring forensic archaeologist Ruth Galloway is inspired by the desolate and beautiful landscape of Norfolk – a county said to be ‘full of ghosts’.

Elizabeth Haynes’s work has been published in more than 30 countries. Her debut novel, Into the Darkest Corner, was written during the National Novel Writing Month – an annual internet challenge to write 50,000 in 30 days – was Amazon’s Best Book of the Year in 2011, featured on the Specsavers TV Book Club and was longlisted for the CWA John Creasey Dagger. She has since published two further psychological thrillers – Revenge of the Tide and Human Remains (Myriad) – as well as two crime novels in the DI Louisa Smith series: Under a Silent Moon and Behind Closed Doors (Sphere).

Following brunch, Paul Johnston and Stav Sherez take to the stage. Johnston is an award-winning crime writer and poet. He is the author of three series of private eye fiction and a standalone police procedural as Sam Alexander. His Quint Dalrymple novels set a high bar for intelligent crime fiction. Set in a futuristic Scotland the series has gained a large international following. Stav Sherez is a British novelist whose first novel, The Devil’s Playground, was shortlisted for the CWA John Creasey Dagger. An eclectic duo to round off Noirwich 2015.

Tickets are £10 (includes brunch) and can be ordered here.
