Ottilie Hainsworth, author of the graphic memoir Talking to Gina, will be presenting her work to the May meeting of the popular comics networking forum Laydeez Do Comics, co-founded by Myriad authors Nicola Streeten and Sarah Lightman. Talking to Gina has been described as ‘funny, heartfelt, witty and devastating in equal measure’ by Andy Oliver of Broken Frontier, and by The Lady as ‘utterly charming’. (Is this the first graphic novel review in The Lady?!) Ottilie will be co-presenting with the winner of the first Laydeez Do Comics Prize, Emma Burleigh. Ottilie was longlisted for the inaugural Myriad First Graphic Novel Competition in 2012. Free, but reserve a place here.
