Ottilie Hainsworth and Hannah Eaton will be taking part in a Caption Festival special hosted by Graphic Brighton at the Phoenix Gallery in Brighton. On the agenda are discussions about music and comics and the legacy of classic girls comics, with workshops and ‘pecha kucha’ presentations. The Phoenix was the venue for the packed launch of Ottilie Hainsworth’s Talking to Gina in September, her graphic memoir about loving and the love of a dog. Hannah Eaton’s Naming Monsters, published in 2013, is working on her new graphic novel for Myriad, Blackwood.
