This one-day symposium will involve delegates in discussions, presentations and events exploring the opportunities and challenges of contemporary autoethnography.

Myriad author Nicola Streeten will be joined by University of Brighton researchers Mike Hayler and Jess Moriarty, as well as University of Sussex academic Denise Turner. The panelists will present their recent work and discuss what exactly autoethnography is and how it might evolve.

The event will appeal to staff and students wanting to explore new, progressive ways to conduct research and to all those seeking a methodology that values and legitimises personal experience and creative academic work.
