Joni Seager in conversation with Professor Doris Bergen at In Her Voice

Celebrate the release of the revised and updated The Women’s Atlas by joining author Joni Seager as she takes part at In Her Voice, an event series celebrating female authors, hosted by Ben McNally Books.

Professor Joni Seager will be joined in an on-stage conversation about women in the world of today, and the major issues they face. Professor Doris Bergen of the University of Toronto will be conducting the interview.

Joni Seager is a feminist geographer and Professor of Global Studies at Bentley University in Boston. She has achieved international acclaim for her work in feminist environmental policy analysis, the environmental costs of militaries and militarism, and gender and climate change.

Seager is the author of many books, including five editions of the award-winning feminist classic The Women’s Atlas, two editions of The State of the Environment Atlas, and Earth Follies: Coming to Feminist Terms With the Global Environmental Crisis.

In Her Voice is an event platform organised by Ben McNally Books to showcase excellence in female authorship. The event series aims to platform the complex realities that accompany any publication, celebrating the woman writer and encourage collective reflection.
