Join Noirwich Crime Writing Festival for their event finale in a fun hour of readings, crime-fiction-flavoured chat and the big reveal of the Noirwich flash fiction competition winners. Topping the bill is New York Times bestseller Elizabeth Haynes, who will read from her new novel The Murder of Harriet Monckton – based on a crime that was never solved. There will also be short readings from local crime authors. An ideal chance to meet and mingle with the writers, readers and fans who all make Noirwich such a special festival.

Elizabeth Haynes is former police intelligence analyst who lives in Norfolk with her husband and son. Her first novel, Into the Darkest Corner, was Amazon’s Best Book of the Year 2011 and a New York Times bestseller. She has written a further three psychological thrillers—Revenge of the TideHuman Remains and Never Alone—and two novels in the DCI Louisa Smith series, Under a Silent Moon and Behind Closed Doors.

Her new novel, The Murder of Harriet Monckton is based on an unsolved murder in 1843 and will be published in September 2018.

The Noirwich Crime Writing Festival is the region’s largest annual celebration of crime writing and one of the fastest growing literary festivals in the UK. Note: this event is not part of the Noirwich Season Pass. It is a free event but you must book your space here.
