Norwich-based Myriad authors Benjamin Johncock and S.E. Craythorne join Sarah Perry and Jenn Ashworth in an evening of readings at The Book Hive in Norwich on 10 July.

S.E. Craythorne will be presenting her debut novel How You See Me as part of this exclusive preview event. Longlisted for the Myslexia Women’s Novel Competition in 2014, How You See Me examines the terrifying power of the mind to deceive, not only others but – most destructively of all – ourselves.

Alongside S.E. Craythorne, Myriad’s Benjamin Johncock will be reading from and discussing his debut novel The Last Pilot. With echoes of Raymond Carver as well as Tom Wolfe’s The Right Stuff and Richard Yates’ Revolutionary Road, The Last Pilot re-ignites the thrill and excitement of the space race through the story of one man’s courage in the face of unthinkable loss.

Sarah Perry is the award-winning author of After Me Comes the Flood and highly acclaimed author Jenn Ashworth will be reading from The Friday Gospels.
